Fees and Policies

Our responsibility is to ensure and provide you with the best care possible. We want the best for you and your teeth. We accept cash/card and medical aid payments. Please note the following fees and payment policies before you commence treatment.

Please note : We only offer quotations for existing patients after a comprehensive consultation and dental exam has been completed.

Cash/Card Payments

We accepts cash/card payments. Payment must be made directly after your dental visit.

Quotations are available on request, as well as invoices/ statements.

Medical Aids

We accept most major medical aids For accepted medical aids, you will be charged at the medical aid rate with no co-payment, subject to your benefit & available funds.

For accepted medical aids, you will be charged at the medical aid rate with NO co-payment.

A claim will be sent on your behalf after the treatment. Dr B. Nhlangulela Inc reserves the right to claim within the 3 month period commencing on the date of treatment.

Please note that any treatment done on you is for your personal account/ liability. If your medical aid does not pay for whatever reason – you will be liable to settle your account.

We will communicate with you when we know of a treatment/treatment code that we need to use that your medical aid doesn’t cover and tell you before commencement of such a treatment falling under that code, however it is your responsibility to know the details of your medical aid cover.

We always try and be proactive when it comes to each medical aid and its individual benefits. However, they all differ depending on which medical aid and option a patient is on, as well as they do change sometimes without notice. Medical aids have exclusions that may be unknown to us and for any of these codes used or treatments completed, the invoice will be for your personal account.

Important Tips for medical aid patients:

Please familiarize yourself with your medical aid benefits. It is the responsibility of the member to be aware of the benefits of their scheme and to interact with their scheme.

Please ensure that you have sufficient funds in your medical aid before proceeding with a treatment.

Please ask for clarity when unsure if your medical aid will cover a treatment or not.

Please do not hesitate to have an open and honest conversation with your Dr about your account/ cost of treatments. A quotation can always be given to you upon request.

For specialized treatments, please ensure that you do a treatment with the relevant authorization (in writing) from your medical aid (if your medical aid requires it).

For medical aids we are not contracted to, you will be required to pay for the treatment in full and claim back from your scheme using your statement.

Clear Aligners

Please note that there cannot be one price for this treatment as it depends on how many aligners and the length of treatment required in each case.

The reveal consultation is R2500.

We do a full consult, take all necessary scans, X-rays and photographs. They are then used to create a treatment plan for you specifically, which will have the customized detail of what is required for you in particular.
It is at that point that we are able to quote you specifically.
